A child welfare provider has only to provide us with the name and phone number or email address of the broker with whom they wish us to work with.
We will:contact the broker, provide them applications, coverage forms, and other specifics about the program, and ask that they provide us a complete submission in plenty of time ahead of your next insurance policy expiration date.
The broker will likely have most, if not all, of the information required in our applications.
A complete submission to Child Welfare Insurance Services includes:
- Complete applications (downloadable from our website)
- 3 years of insurance company loss runs
- A current brochure or website address
- Current financial statement
- Copies of the agency’s licenses
Auto and property quotes require:
- Property and auto Acord applications, including a current list of vehicles (which broker probably already has on file)
- Current driver lists with motor vehicle reports
Once we have a complete submission, we can typically provide a liability quote within days. Auto and property quotes require approximately 30 days.
We provide our quotes directly to your broker in a client-ready proposal that outlines the coverages, limits, premiums, frequently asked questions and their answers, any quote conditions, and payment options.
To make coverage effective, we must have the signature of someone in authority at the child welfare organization on our Bind Request, which indicates specifically which coverages, limits, and payment terms are being requested. A signature on this page also indicates agreement with any quote conditions outlined on the Bind Request.
Once we have received the signed Bind Request, we issue and send a policy number and invoice to your broker. Your policy will typically follow within 30 days.
