Because our founder and CEO, Rhonda Sciortino, is a former foster child who believes in the benefits of good foster care, we exist to protect good child & family service providers.

Rhonda is a committed Christian who has made a ministry of standing in the gap between child welfare organizations and the insurance industry. Since 1989 we have worked to protect good providers. Although insurance companies come and go, Child Welfare Insurance Services serves as the “shock absorber” that minimizes the impact of changes in the insurance industry. Through the years there have been insurance companies that have decided to insure child welfare organizations and later gone out of business or changed their minds, but our commitment never waivers. We’re constantly tracking the market so that the due diligence is done for our brokers and the child welfare organizations.

We’ve committed ourselves to operate at the highest level of integrity, honesty, and fairness. While this doesn’t ensure that we’ll never make a mistake, we do promise to always do our best at all we do.

We are, first and foremost, child advocates who are insurance professionals.
